The reason for the 3 stars in spite of good quality and value for money is that the background to this pattern is incredibly fine. I used Dulux matt to paint the paper and, even after two coats, there were still patches where the paint hadn't taken. I don't think of this pattern as 'deeply embossed' but I think, in retrospect, I would have watered down the paint (as suggested by Dulux for deeply embossed patterns) and it would have covered more efficiently.
