Those who love normal wallpaper will probably know that it can be a pain to hang with wallpaper adhesive. Seeming to have a mind of its own – too runny, too stiff or simply all over the room. Paste the Wall Wallpaper is quite possibly one of the best inventions ever in the world of home décor. You can choose from fun prints, bold colours, luxurious styles and beautiful textures. Not to mention those exquisite glitter and metallic finishes that are all the rage this season. And luckily,a number of wallpaper manufacturers are now designing wallpapers that are perfect for those wallpaper novices out there in the form of paste the wall wallpaper. The concept behind paste the wall lining paper and wallpaper is that instead of applying wallpaper paste to each individual panel, you simply apply the adhesive to the entire wall and then stick the lengths of lining paper or wallpaper on top. To make the whole process of hanging paste the wall wallpaper, just follow these three easy steps: Step 1: Prepare the Wall As with any type of wallpaper, you need to ensure that you prepare the wall before hanging your wallpaper. Make sure that cracks, pits and dents are rectified and that you use a good quality primer. Your aim is to make the wall as smooth as possible before attempting to hang lining paper or paste the wall wallpaper. Step 2: Paste the Wall Read the instructions found on your wallpaper and use the wallpaper adhesive recommended. If you’re unsure, at Go Wallpaper we are always happy to help advise you on what kind of wallpaper adhesive to use for your chosen paste the wall wallpaper. We recommend using ready mixed wallpaper adhesive for convenience as it always comes in the right consistency and ready to work with. Use a paint roller to start applying the adhesive directly onto the wall in a thin, even layer. Concentrate on a small area at a time to reduce wasting adhesive – you don’t want it to dry before you’ve hung your wallpaper.  Step 3: Apply the Wallpaper Now it’s time to wallpaper. Begin at the topmost left-hand corner of the wall and align the first strip so it’s perfectly straight. Stretch out the wallpaper, still on the roll by slowly unrolling it downwards. Use a wallpaper brush to smooth the wallpaper and eliminate bubbles. Once you reach the bottom of the wall, trim. Then repeat the process on the next strip of wallpaper.
